I''ve tried plugging in the SanDisk Sansa M250 2GB MP3 player into several different computers, at work and at home, and the computer always readily notes that I plugged in something, but then there''s always an error in identifying it. Therefore, it never pops up in My Computer or anywhere. The player says its connected, but the computer doesn''t know what to do with it. Help! |

Do you know if you can change the USB mode of the player? Last I heard there was 2 modes (MSC and MSP I think) - one of these may work for you whereas the other may not. Pete ************** Mine’s a JD, if you please |

Wow... PURE GENIUS!!! It''s... alive!!! Thanks so much! I had purchased this one to replace a very defective Rio mp3 player, and I was getting frustrated that it wasn''t working either. Thank you once again! |

Strange... I loaded up some songs, then used the "safely remove hardware" tool, tested out the songs, and now when I try to connect it again, the computer doesn''t recognize it anymore! It worked that one and only time, and now it''s unrecognizable on all 4 computers that I use... |

Give it a reset (if you can find the option for it) and make sure that when you have transferred the songs over you swap the mode back again - see if that sorts it. Pete ************** Mine’s a JD, if you please |
